KICKBOXING

      Our program is designed to provide a solid skill base for students who wish to pursue competitive kickboxing as well as provide excellent fitness training for those who do not.  It's also great for basic self defense.  Our school is a proud member of the International Kickboxing Federation and The International Sport Kickboxing Association and regularly competes at their events.  We have staff certified by these organizations.

SPORT MMA &

YOUTH PANKRATION

      MMA & Youth Pankration have always been part our school curriculum and a hugely popular part.  These sports are fun and exciting and are conducted safely so students can participate and compete under a controlled environment.  We are a certified school/have certified instructors under the United States Fight League and our instructors have passed coaches certifications and Safe Sport training with Team USA for Boxing and Wrestling, as well as the CDC's Heads Up program for concussion awareness and prevention in youth sports.  We offer a skill based curriculum designed to give our members a solid foundation whether they want to join our competition team for USFL, ISKA, & Strike First MMA/Pankration events, or they simply want try a diverse and exciting class.  This is a favorite with the kids.

CATCH AS CATCH CAN SUBMISSION WRESTLING

     Catch as Catch Can is the forefather to both Folk Style and Free Style amateur wrestling and the front runner for Modern Pankration and MMA.  It traces it's roots back to the late 1400's and is the old school style of submission grappling.  We at PFS are proud members of the Old School Grappling Catch Wrestling Association.  We're the only  certified Catch As Catch Can school in the Tampa Bay area, and we look forward to re-introducing this style to the world.  We also supplement our training as activate participants with USA Wrestling.
